Kids are the most important part of Christian ministry. They are the next leaders of our communities, families and churches. They are vital for the message to continue to grow. Jesus loves children as is evidenced by him schooling his disciples when they were trying to keep the kids from pestering him in a crowd. He told them to let the kids come to him. It imperative that we provide a love caring home life for them as well as impactful church programs that teach and guide them to a closer walk with Jesus.
Kids love to sing, play games learn. Each program should include all of these elements to maintain their attention and get them to want to return next week. Kids often get what they want and will do their best to persuade they parents to provide their heart’s desire. They will wine, cry and continue to sell their parents to give them what they want
When there is an exciting program, they will complain non-stop until you explain to they why they can not have it or take them where they want to go to get them to stop. So it is really the kids that will persuade parents to take them to church and arrive on time.
As parents, you are the leaders of your children, it is vitally important to provide them with wholesome programs that will help them to grow in Christ. Read them bible stories, pray with them and take them to a church where they can meet and make friends and find Christian role models that will have a positive on spiritual life.
Volunteer your help in the children’s class division, they will appreciate the help, plus you can help influence what your child is studying. If your church does not offer a children’s program, start one. Ask around to other parents who have children of your child’s age. Perhaps together you can put come up with a program schedule that works for all of you.
